Our Holidays and then some

Its January 15th- and I am finally getting around to writing about our holidays. I'll keep it short and sweet and let the pictures do the talking, but if I had one word to describe our Christmas it would be AWESOME. Now that Apollo is three and he gets what Christmas is all about, we are having a blast sharing the magic of Santa and Christmas traditions with him.

We kicked off our holiday celebrations with Christmas Adam (the night before Christmas eve- because Adam came first) with our friends the Johnsons, the Schmidts  and The Coates. We ate ribs (get it- ribs? Adam?) and awesome food and the kids acted out the nativity. CUTEST NATIVITY EVER.

Then we went to our annual Christmas even celebration with Cameron's mom's side fo the family. The kids were spoiled ROTTEN I tell ya. I ate my weight in awesome food, and forgot to take pictures. But when I don't take pictures it means I am having lots of fun.

And then Christmas... Santa came! I guess we were good this year! He did leave sooty footprints all over the house that Apollo had fun following, and he took all of the candles out of our fireplace, but I forgive him for being such a slob because he left such awesome presents.

He ate the cookies and left a note in it's place. He even left a bag of chicken feed in the chicken coop for our Chickens.

 The Hulk and Batman.

 I made pie. YUM.

The Schmidt kids came over and we put on shaving cream beards.

And here is a really long video of the first few minutes of Christmas morning.

Christmas rocked!

The best part was that Cameron took the week after Christmas off. We went over to visit our friends  Hayley and Carlos in Moses Lake and had a blast.

Carlos is a master chef and I am not kidding when I say I gained ten pounds on our trip. I really did. I know this because every time I go to the doctors, they weigh me. Oh but it was so worth it.

The kids. They have three adorable girls- Ava, Ellia and Fiona. We did so many fun things in Moses Lake.

We enjoyed the snow and even had the chance to walk on Moses Lake itself. It was frozen solid.

Sunshine had fun being obsessed with their three-month-old baby, Fiona.
OBSESSED.

She would smother the baby with hugs and kisses. SMOTHER. It's going to be interesting having  another baby with her around to "help" me mother him.

We also went to a dairy farm and learned all about where our milk comes from and saw some adorable baby calves. They were so cute.

And we partied. My other wonderful friend from High School, Krista, and her husband Jorge and her sisters and mom came up for the best New Years Party EVER.

Cam the balloon man. He is a kid magnet.

 Happy New Year!

Oh the fun we had. It was so much fun seeing my sweet friends again and getting to know their beautiful families. I can't wait for next time!

And... the latest around these parts. Apollo got a new Big Boy Bed. I want to cry. He is growing up too fast!

Putting together the big boy bed.

I am six month pregnants but feel like I am twelve. Pretty sure this is my last pregnancy EVER.

And little miss Sunshine got her first haircut. I cut her bangs. She melts my heart. I also can't seem to get a picture of her where her eyes are open.

Whatever. She's still adorable.

PHEW! Longest post ever- but now I am caught up! Gold star for you if you stuck it out till the end.

Looks like a blast! You look darling, by the way. The third pregnancy is a challenge though...especially with a little one so close in age. It is a challenge, but I hear they they become great friends.
You have to have more. Your children are too lovely to stop now ;)
