Apollo's party and some other fun stuff

Last week, we had a giant superhero birthday bash for Apollo. It was awesome to have family come from out of town for the big party and see how excited Apollo was. It was lots of work- we  had to move our giant couch out to the garage so we could set up tables to fit everyone- but it was so fun. All of the kids dressed up as their favorite superhero (or princess).

Cameron and I attempted our first marshmallow fondant cake and it turned out pretty darn good. Neither one of us are very skilled in the culinary department, but thanks to the blogging world, we figured out how to make the kind of cake we envisioned. The look on Apollo's face when we brought it out made all of the effort worth it, but I don't know if I will attempt a four-tier fondant cake any time soon again.

Also... I'm 2 and 1/2 weeks from my due date, feeling huge and exhausted, but having fun getting the kids pumped about meeting little brother.
