I Heart Three Day Weekends

I love living on a cul-de-sac. We spent our long weekend riding around on bikes. Cameron wore his red, white and blue suspenders for Memorial Day and looked like a lumberjack while he gave all of the neighborhood kids a ride on the roller-coaster contraption he put together. He's such a nerd. I'm pretty sure he had more fun than the kids did.

I used the weekend to spray paint things. It's what I do.

The "before" is on the left. The new seat covers are vinyl- cloth chairs just won't do with three little sticky fingered kids. I should have four of the six dining chairs done tonight, if I have time to go to Lowes and get new staples for my staple gun.

Apollo also learned how to ride a bike without training wheels! My boy is getting so big. He's a pro now- he had just started when we took this video.

And some more pictures from the weekend:

Phoenix has started smiling when we talk to him. He's such a sweetie.

'
Oh I love him.

 Body paint with yogurt.

Found her sleeping in this pose.

Phoenix is 5 1/2 weeks and weighs 14 pounds.
He wears 6-9 month size onesies. Holy huge!
Her favorite thing to do with her toy stroller.

We let Apollo's butterflies go. It was bittersweet.

I have also burnt a few dinners while being sucked into the fabulous world of Pinterest. Where have you been all of my life!? It is such an awesome tool. Here are my boards: http://pinterest.com/roryg/
Does anyone else have a board I haven't discovered yet?

Toodles!

You're chairs are inspiring me! Love the vinyl idea. That picture of sunshine with the yogurt is priceless.
