Remlinger Farms

On Saturday, we took a little jaunt out to Remlinger Farms along with our super awesome neighbors/friends. It was awesome! I spent most of the time there fantasizing about how someday Cam and I will own our own farm. We'll refer to each other as "Pa" and "Ma" and spend the hot days on the covered porch in our rocking chairs, sipping on freshly squeezed lemonade. We're already halfway there with the chickens and pig. It could happen.

It was a blast, Sunshine and Apollo rode on all kinds of rides and even got to ride on ponies. Sunshine gave the stink eye the entire time but promptly asked for "more" and refused to get off the horse which means she loved it. She also scowls the entire time she is on our swing, but it's her favorite thing to do. She's such a goofball.

We also took a train ride around the farm, bought freshly picked berries, and soaked up the beautiful sun. It was such a blast! I'm so glad we used a Saturday to do something fun instead of working on chores and house projects. And THANK GOODNESS summer finally decided to get here- I am so over the cloudy rainy stuff.

Sunshine helped herself to an apple at the store when I was looking the other way. 

It was fun!

We also have new playhouse in the backyard. It took some maneuvering to move this beast, but it was worth it. It's awesome. Thanks goodness for strong guys, big trucks, and friends willing to sacrifice their weekend to help move heavy stuff.
